Experience

Jane Silarajs brings 20 plus years of experience in patent prosecution and intellectual property management to the team, and has particular expertise in the realm of foreign patent filing and prosecution. Jane has experience as foreign filing manager for several large law firms, and most recently has been running the in-house patent law department for a Johnson & Johnson operating company. Jane has taught classes in various aspects of intellectual property law, and is well versed in all of the roles and functions of an IP law firm or group.

Ann Williams has over 12 years experience in the intellectual property legal arena, including stints with large law firms as well as high-tech corporations’ in-house legal groups. She has significant expertise in docketing, patent law rules and procedures, standards of practice, document and case management, patent research and tracking, portfolio management, legal accounting, cost management and invoicing, and prior art tracking and management.

Tracie Crothers has over 11 years experience in foreign patent filing and prosecution, including service as the senior foreign filing specialist at a major IP law firm in Palo Alto, California. Tracie is excellent at providing short term filing assistance, and has significant experience in training staff on foreign filing rules and procedures.

David Nakley has over 11 years experience in docketing and records management, and is currently the docket manager at a very large West Coast law firm. His exceptional level of attention to detail, coupled with his in-depth knowledge of patent practice and procedure, makes him an ideal person for all aspects of docketing and records management. In his career, David has coordinated and managed several new docket system implementations from start to finish at two major law firms, and has done significant consulting work for smaller firms requiring assistance and guidance with docketing and client/case management.

Jane, Tracie and David are based in northern California and will be integral to supporting our clients in the Silicon Valley, and Ann is based in Texas.
